FUCK! Okay, I have to respond lol.

THIS POST just popped up on my dashboard and I was like what the bubble fuck is this about. In case you don’t want to waste your time visiting their blog, it says:

beautiful dark skin girls who’s tumblr consists of nothing but pictures of white people portraits/fashion with little to no portraits of beautiful black people/fashion …that right there tells me everything i need to know about your self esteem & discomfort in your own skin. you would think that mental mixxup would be dead in 2011 but unfortunately…

Now, I’M GOING TO SPEAK FOR MYSELF (I’ll try to keep it “short” b/c I never stay on topic but this is going to be all over the place any damn way lol)… posting photos of other races has absolutely nothinggggg to do with my self esteem and/ or “discomfort” in my own skin. African American people are beautiful, Caucasian people are beautiful, Middle Eastern people are beautiful et cetra et cetra. Where along the lines of blogging people of a different shade does it state that you don’t love yourself? Where does it say “I blog these photos to represent how I feel about my being?” No where, unless you actually wrote that in your ‘about me.’ Never will the black community (or any other community for that matter) represent me, I represent my damn self and I make the decision on who I want to “represent” me, so to group “beautiful dark skin girls” together who choose to blog this way, is irrelevant. It does not say something about each of these women as an individual. We are NOT the same! The bigger problem is feeling like we HAVE to be the same because of the fucking pigmentation in our skin. Step back and reread what you wrote, son. Learn to get to know and accept people as individuals not as a damn community unless they want to be part of said community. Why? Because you, a black man, stereotyping and grouping black women this way gives clear goahead to those who are not ‘black’ to group blacks in the same manner (i.e. that black man robbed a corner store, all blacks are thieves)… see the ignorance? exactly.

… And what the fuck is up with the “compliment” and insult in your damn run on sentence? How you gonna say beautiful black girls and in the same instance talk about how they lack esteem and comfort? Fuck out of here, for that keep your half ass sweet words. The funny thing is you don’t even know the women you just bunched together. “…Live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character (MLK Jr),” you’re not even close to judging their physical but instead their fucking BLOG! Hate to tell you but, blogs don’t represent everyone in their entirety. These same people you judge online have a life, whether minute or major, offline… off this site.

So what if a black chick blogs “white people portraits/ fashion,” so what? “This is my life homie, you decide yours (Kanye),” that means worry about your damn self.  I peeped your avatar, you know what gets me? How you have a black chick spread eagle in your background on the cover of XXL. How can you be self righteous and try to be the “word of the people” when you buy shit like that? I’m not saying anything is wrong with the magazine, I’m just saying if you’re going to come at a “group” in one aspect, correct yourself in every aspect that may come up… because trying to uplift women with your, again, half ass compliment but having that magazine on display says what about yourself and your outlook on black women? Am I starting to sound as ignorant as you now? Don’t take my calling you ignorant as a complete insult though, it just means you lack the knowledge, apparently, of this particular topic. What do you say to a white woman or an asian woman who’s blog consists of nothing but ‘black people/fashion? Does that mean they don’t love themselves as well or are you going to be all “heyyyy, I love how you embrace another race.” Talk about hypocritical.

I’ll give you one thing though, luckily people like me like to speak up but it’s so sad to see you come at someone like this “you would think that mental mixxup would be dead in 2011 but unfortunately…”

(see what I did there)?
