I’ve done it, so I can’t sit here and say “how can people do that” and blah blah blah but I’ve had my reasons. I don’t wanna say they’re good reasons but they’re good enough for me. As people get older, sometimes butting heads with their parents is bound to happen. Situations happen and emotions get out of control. I wish I could say otherwise but it is what it is.
Now, how people just right out disrespect their parents when their parents have done nothing to them, like kids who hit their parent or curse them out, I don’t “agree” with. I never even understood how parents let their kids raise a hand at them to begin with (b/c I’d whoop that ass lol), but cursing… I’ve never been one to have foul language in front of my elders. Granted, now that I’m older I have the mouth of a sailor, I know who and who not to curse in front of.
Blah, idk I respected my parents (or anyone for that matter) when I was younger but as I got older and developed a mind of my own, I stuck to giving respect where respect is due. In order to give you have to get. So if you disrespect me that’s the end of shit for you and vice versa.
